The shortlist for the 2018 General Practice Awards has today (30 August) been released.
The Pharmacist is delighted to announce the finalists for the Pharmacist of the Year Award:
- Olutayo Arikawe, The Priory Community Pharmacy
- Crispin Patrick Roland Bliss, Basegreen Pharmacy
- Nitin Lakhani, The Wellspring Surgery/Jaysons Pharmacy
- Ali Gul Ozbek, Med-Chem Pharmacy
- Ade Williams, Bedminster Pharmacy
The Pharmacist’s editor and General Practice Awards judge Beth Kennedy said: ‘The competition for this year’s Pharmacist of the Year Award was fierce, and it was incredibly difficult to narrow it down to our five finalists.
‘Each of them has shown that they fully embody what it is to be a great pharmacist – they are dedicated to their patients and have truly made a difference to the communities they work so hard to serve.
‘A massive congratulations is in order to each of our finalists. We can’t wait to crown the winner later this year.’
The Awards night is taking place on 30 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, where the 2018 winners will be revealed.
