Pheonix sales director Jeremy Meader is to become the new managing director of independent support group Numark.
Mr Meader will succeed John D’Arcy in the post from 1 February, the company announced today (8 November).
Mr D’Arcy announced his intention to step down as managing director in July after a decade with the company, but intends stay on as Numark’s non-executive chairman for at least two years.
Numark said: ‘Jeremy brings with him huge experience and knowledge of not only the sector but a unique understanding of the Numark membership, having headed up the pharmacy development team, during which time membership growth reached an all-time high in both existing and new channels.’
Steve Anderson, group managing director Phoenix UK, said: ‘We have a great team at Numark and we are going from strength to strength with ambitious growth plans over the coming years. Our sector is facing many challenges, but I know Jeremy and John will develop the solutions and support our customers need to succeed.’
